Police are appealing for witnesses to a break-in at an address in the Clerkhill area Peterhead last week.
The incident occurred at a house between 7.30pm and 11pm on Tuesday, January 28.
As a result, a quantity of jewellery and electrical items worth a low four-figure sum of money were stolen.
Sergeant Gilbert Buchan, of the Peterhead Community Policing Team, said: “We would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to continue to be vigilant in securing their property and to not leave valuables unattended.
“If anybody has any information regarding the theft or believes they may have seen something suspicious in the area at the time they are urged to contact us on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
