Two people are expected to appear at court today (Wednesday October 5) following the recovery of Class A drugs at a property in the Balnagask area of Aberdeen.

Personal amounts of 'Crack' Cocaine, Heroin and Cannabis were seized during the intelligence-led drugs search warrant executed on Tuesda,y October 4, as well as a four-figure sum of cash.

Two 26-year-old males from London have been charged in connection and are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.

Meanwhile, a personal amount of 'Crack' cocaine was also recovered at a property in the Maiden Street area of Peterhead during another drugs search warrant, as well as a three-figure sum of cash. Enquiries into the matter are ongoing.

Police Scotland is committed to tackling the illegal use of drugs in communities across the North East under Operation Aspen.

Members of the public are urged to continue providing information about drug-related criminal activity so that officers can continue to take positive action.
