An Arbroath hotel will host a charity gig attracting bands and musicians from all over Angus and Dundee this weekend.

Tomorrow (Saturday) the Cliffburn Hotel will be the venue for the Elite Fest fund-raising gig in aid of the The Dolpo Community Health Trust Nepal.

The event has been organised by Brendan Cairney and Yogi, otherwise known as Sam Cook, and promises a fun-filled evening from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

In the line-up are a host of well-known local DJs including Made to Invade, Tommy Takeover and Subnetik as well as bands such as Thorn In The Face McGowan.

Entry is £5 on the door, search for Elite Charity Gig on Facebook. The money will be used to set up an homeopathy clinic in the Nepalese village of Ringmo. It will provide treatment for a variety of simple illnesses which when inadequately addressed can prove fatal in babies and young children. Visit www.dchtnepal.org for more information.
