Charity donation from Exxon Mobil

Cornerstone, a charity that supports people with disabilities in Grampian and across Scotland, has received a donation as a result of the Exxon Mobil Sage Terminal’s good practice

Exxon Mobil presented a cheque for £2,300 to Cornerstone last Friday at the charity’s Glebefield service.

Mobil North Sea LLC introduced the Safety Award Scheme to encourage everyone to apply safe working practices in all areas of the company’s business. A charitable donation is made to the employees chosen charity,

In recognition of excellent safety performance in the third quarter of this year, the company made donations to local charities and SAGE Gas Terminal St Fergus, choose Cornerstone to receive its award.

SAGE chose Cornerstone as a number of their employees had volunteered at the charity’s Glebefield service in Peterhead. Vanessa Smith, Cornerstone’s Regional Corporate Relations & Fundraising Co-ordinator, added “We would like to thank SAGE for their very generous donation. Donations like this are vital in helping us to improve the lives of people with disabilities in North East and throughout Scotland”.

Fiona Allardyce of MNSLLC added “We have a long established record of donating money to local charities and we are very happy to provide funds to organizations such as Cornerstone, who do incredibly important work in the community.”
