Haddo House and Country Park near Ellon is on the lookout for volunteers and their furry friends to get involved in their exciting new Dog Park project.

They are creating a new agility course and training area and need help with building, painting and testing it out.

Seasonal Visitor Officer for Haddo, Harriet Andrew, said: “Haddo has always been seen as a great place for dogs and their owners.

“We’ve built a fantastic adventure play area for children and we believe that our canine companions deserve something new too.”

Building will start on Saturday, August 16 and volunteers are welcome along any time after 10am.

Tools and equipment will be provided and there will be free teas, coffees and biscuits available.

There will be jobs for volunteers of all ages as well as opportunities for canine volunteers to test out the finished products.
