Buchan Development Initiative (BDi) is delighted to have completed the 2013 season after a successful year at Aden Caravan Park.
The organisation became the sole operator of the four-star site earlier this year when BDi signed a lease with Aberdeenshire Council.
A small party was hosted at the park by managing director Oliver Fuller.
Aberdeenshire Coucil’s Buchan area manager Chris White attended, as did wardens Joyce and Mohamed and a number of loyal customers.
Aided by a summer of glorious weather, Aden proved to be a popular destination for caravanners.
Mr Fuller said: “Our aim is to share some of the proceeds of the caravan park to support the good work of Buchan Development Partnership (BDP) in supporting the communities and villages of central Buchan.
“Buchan Development Partnership is the rural partnership for central Buchan and works closely with Aberdeenshire Council to develop this area.”
He continued: “Our long term aim is to develop the caravan park to offer honest four-star facilities which will attract new customers for the benefit of Buchan.
“We use local supplies and contractors wherever possible to promote local growth.”
BDP was set up by people in the area who wanted to provide a local advice service to organisations looking to develop their community through projects and facilities.
The team aim to help Buchan residents realise these opportunities and to build inclusive and sustainable projects.
The team has a wealth of experience in all aspects of development work enabling them to suppoer and empower groups of all sizes.
BDi is a wholly owned subsidiary of BDP.
