Hot Spot to host help advice sessions

Hot Spot is reminding the Peterhead community that it runs an Employability and Welfare Drop-In every Tuesday from 4pm-7pm.

The Drop In is open to anyone who would like help with welfare issues or finding employment such as support with job searches, writing a CV or completing forms.

And starting on Tuesday, May 27 and thereafter on the last Tuesday of every month, experienced advisors from a range of organisations will be available to help people with a variety of money and benefit issues.

The advisors - from Job Centre Plus, Citizens Advice Bureau, Aberdeenshire Councils Benefit Section and the Volunteer Centre Aberdeenshire - will share their knowledge of supports that are available to people in Peterhead and give advice about their eligibility to apply for these supports.

Where possible, claims or applications for help that may be available to them can be made on the same evening.

Everyone is welcome to pop along and no appointments are necessary.

If you would like more information, call the Hot Spot on 01779 871450.
