Around 20 new are to be created with the arrival of a new Co-op in Peterhead.
Co-operative Food has announced that it is to open a new convenience store at Kimundy Road.
It has agreed a deal to open in a new shop unit spanning around 3,000 sq ft, and is expected to open in the autumn of 2014.

“It will ensure a pleasant shopping experience, and people will be able to enjoy picking up delicious food conveniently.

The Co-operative Food currently has two convenience stores in Peterhead, one in Ugie Road and the other in Clerkhill Road.
Work on the new store is expected to begin in the new year.
