Deer Parish Church Prayer Group will meet in Old Deer Church on Wednesday, September 19, from 6.30 – 7.15pm.

At the meeting of the Peterhead Methodist Church Sisterhood on Wednesday, September 19, commencing at 7.15pm, a programme is to be presented by the St. Andrew’s Church Men’s Choir. All ladies are very welcome.

Peterhead St. Andrew’s Church Guild’s new session begins on Wednesday, September 19, at 7.30pm when the guests are to be Jim and Moira Givan from Longmanhill near Macduff.

Peterhead Baptist Church Senior Citizens’ Fellowship will resume on Thursday, September 20, in the back hall at 2.15pm when ladies and gentlemen will be very welcome. The guest speaker is Jim Anderson from St. Combs.

St. Drostan’s Episcopal Church, Old Deer, is having a Quiz Night in the Stuartfield Hall on Saturday, September 22, commencing at 7.30pm.

In St. Andrew’s Church, Queen Street, on Saturday, September 22, there is to be a Buttery Morning and Sale of Vegetables from 10am until 12 noon. Teas and coffees are £2.

On Sunday, September 23, morning worship in Old Deer Church commencing at 10.30am will be the Guild Dedication Service.

Sunday School meets also at the same time and crèche facilities are available during the service. Teas will be served afterwards.

Peterhead Fishermen’s Mission extends a warm welcome to the Nightcap Service on Sunday, September 23, at 8pm.

The weekly meeting of the Mission Ladies’ Guild is on Tuesday, September 25, at 7.15pm.

Cruden Guild meets on Monday, September 24, in the hall at 7.30pm when the minister will conduct a “face to face” interview with Eilidh Whiteford M.P.

Messy Church is to be a new initiative of Cruden Parish Church. Look out for further details about it starting in October.

Peterhead Old Parish Church Senior Ladies’ Fellowship will meet in the upstairs hall on Monday, September 24, at 2pm when the invited guest, Mr. Billy Lovie, is to be entertaining.

Please note the Social Evening in Peterhead Methodist Church, Queen Street, on Saturday, October 6, at 7pm in aid of “Open Doors”, an organisation which helps persecuted Christians worldwide.

Entertainment is to be provided by Burnhaven School Choir and Douglas Erskine will speak as an “Open Doors” representative.

A warm welcome is extended to come and support this very worthy cause for which a freewill offering will be received on the night. All are very welcome and refreshments will be served.

Peterhead St. Andrew’s Church is having a Rag Bag collection on Monday, October 15, from 10am to 4pm. The hall will be open also during that time to receive donations of unwanted linen, clothes, shoes.
