The Peterhead station currently has 14 presenters and they are planning to apply for a 28 day restricted services FM licence (RSL) by the end of this year or early 2015.

Highlights from the station’s first year include DJ Dizzy’s 25-hour marathon show which managed to raise over £1,000 and his ‘Shang-A-Lang’ Bay City Rollers tribute programme that attracts listeners from all across the world.

Programme organiser, Ronnie Arthur, said: “The show has been very popular and it is amazing that DJ Dizzy has been able to get in contact with the original Bay City Rollers band members.”
