Brian retires after 34 years service

Brian Easson has retired from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service after 34 years service.

He started as a retained fire fighter in 1980 and served ten years working his way up the ranks to finish in the retained service as a sub officer. Brian joined the full-time service in 1990 and ended his career as a watch manager at Peterhead Fire Station.

He was also part of the UK International Search and Rescue team who went out to assist in New Zealand after an earthquake devastated Christchurch in February 2011.
