The local branch of a national bank helped the Blue Toon get a festive feeling as they contributed to a campaign that aims to set up Christmas lighting for the town centre.
TSB on Queen Street presented the Light up Peterhead campaign with a £100 cheque last week (Friday, November 13).
The money was presented to Phyllis Mundie of the campaign by staff Gemma Duthie and branch manager Robert McDougal.
Light up Peterhead is attempting to raise £3000 to ensure that the town will have Christmas lights in place as it emerged earlier in the year that the previous organisers where unable to continue. Any monies made over the target will go towards next year’s lighting.
