Craigewan Photographic Group recently had their second themed competition which was Street Photography.
This was judged by Margaret Elliot of Dumfries Camera club who surprised the club by turning up on the night to read out her scores and comments.
Margaret had previously judged the 2016 Grampian Eye at Peterhead last year.
In another tight competition it was the male members who came out on top in this theme with Bill McLean just edging out Dave Johnston by two points.
Bill was in first place with his three images scoring a possible 54 out of 60, followed by Dave Johnston in second place on 52 points and in third was Beverley Thain with 48 points.
This means that after the two rounds so far that Dave Johnston now leap frogs the ladies into first place with 108 points followed by Michelle Emslie in second place with 103 points, with Beverley Thain , Colin Meikle and Gayle Ramsay in third equal on 101 points.
The next round will be focused on Landscapes.
Margaret had a great time and was also treated to a day away photographing the Mountain Hares in the Cairngorms with the Craigewan Photographic Group Chairman Peter Lewis.
