Police Scotland are appealing to members of the public who have had property stolen to help identify their belongings.
A significant quantity of items have been recovered in the Peterhead area including flat screen televisions, tools, jewellery and an assortment of other goods.
The items will be displayed between 10am and 4pm this Saturday (January 18) at the former Buchanhaven Community Centre on Ugie Road, Peterhead.
Officers and Community Wardens will be present to assist and crime prevention advice will be available to anyone who wishes to be given information.
Buchan Community Policing Team Inspector Andy Imray said: “We are extremely grateful to the Buchanhaven Heritage Society for giving us this opportunity to display the stolen property.
“A number of recent break-ins have been in that general area of the town, as well as elsewhere, so this is a very convenient location for local people to come along to.”
He added: “I should point out that any property which is identified will not be returned on Saturday, but ultimately will pass back to the hands of the rightful owner.
“We must satisfy ourselves of this and that process can take a period of time.”
