A Christmas Fayre held at Peterhead’s Palace Hotel recently has been hailed a success.
The fayre, organised by local woman Connie Chiappino of Rhiannon Jewellery, was held on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October.
Speaking to the Buchanie, Connie said: “This is the fayre’s eighth year and I would say this was the best one yet.
“It was absolutely heaving on both days and there was a great atmosphere, people were saying the town centre was busy because of the fayre and that is great for local businesses.”
She added: “There was a wide range of stalls selling items including jewellery, Christmas wreaths, sweets and Christmas decorations.”
Connie will host a Christmas Fayre in Fraserburgh on November 15 and 16 in the Leisure Centre from 11am to 5pm on the Saturday and from 12 noon to 4pm on the Sunday.
