Allandale think pink for charity

Staff and service users at Allandale House care home in Peterhead dressed in pink on Friday, October 23 in aid of Breast Cancer Now.

The home organised an Afternoon Tea while one male member of staff dressed up as a woman to raise some money for the charity.

Friends and family members popped in for their tea and a fine piece - even Barney the dog dressed in pink! (pictured above)

Allandale managed to raise around £400 on the day.

Breast Cancer Now’s Wear it Pink event was first launched in 2002 and since then over £27 million has been raised.

The charity simply asks for people to wear something pink and donate whatever they can.
