A Royal occasion in aid of Leah

LEAH’s Royal Wedding Fun Run will be taking place this Friday, April 29 to not only celebrate the Royal Wedding but to raise some money for the Leah Ligertwood Appeal “Walking to the Future”.

There will be many activities taking place on the night with the fun beginning at 5.30pm, including face painting, beat the goalie, sponge throwing and guess the dolls birthday. There will also be toffee and sandwiches for sale as well as tea and coffee being served in the marquee.

From 6pm the 1,3 and 5k walk, jog or run will begin, a great event for all ages and abilities, registration for the walk, jog, run begins at 5pm upstairs in the Peterhead Football Club.

There will also have spot prizes for the best dressed Bride and Groom and the best hats/tiaras and ties on the night. Followed by the run, a Disco will be held at the Peterhead Football Club which will begin at 8pm.

Tickets for the run are £5 for adults and £3 for children, tickets for both the run and the disco are £8 for adults and £6 for children which includes stovies. Disco only tickets are £6 for adults, £4 for children.

All participants of the fun run will receive a Royal Wedding commemorative medal. Please note registrations on the night will be accepted however does not include a medal or stovies.
