Dales Park School P4-P7 pupils held a very special end of term performance of the William Shakespeare classic, “A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream” on Friday, June 27.
Pupils dressed up in various bright costumes to help them get into character and there was a mix of singing, dancing and acting to keep the audience entertained.
Parents were invited along to a special evening performance but the Buchanie went along to the school’s dress rehearsal on Thursday, June 26 where pupils were working hard to learn their lines in time for their big performance.
The pupils involved had been rehearsing their parts in the play over the last few weeks to ensure they knew every line and knew exactly when to come on and leave the stage.
Pupils took on the roles of Oberon, Titania, Puck, Hermia, Helena and Demetrius to tell Shakespeare’s story.
