Local recycling group 2ReUse launched their new project M4M (Materials for Money) on Monday, December 5.

The aim of the project is to increase the amount of materials being re-used instead of heading to landfill - and those who donate will be paid for their items.

M4M accepts any kind of materials including bedding, curtains and clothes but all items must be clean and dry.

Manager Brenda Campbell said: “Its a good cause. People stuggle, especially this time of year when money is tight so this is our way of helping out.”

The project is the first of its kind in Peterhead and the 2ReUse team are hoping it will be a success.

If anyone has any materials they want to donate, take them along to the 2Reuse Berryden Road shop between 10am-1pm Monday to Friday.
