In a very tight match, Cowall came out on top by four points with a score of 443.

Judge Peter Clark from Fraserburgh, who is a portrait and wedding photographer, said the entries were the best set of images he has ever judged.

Chairman Peter Lewis told the Buchanie: “The competition was a great success and in light of Peter’s comments on the quality, everyone can take pride in their images that were taken.”

On the club front itself, Peter said the recently-founded group now has a thriving memebership of 30, with three more popping along on the night of the comeptition to the old Buchanhaven School where it meets from 7-9pm.

A warm welcome is extended to anyone with an interest in photography.
