A total of 250 adults and kids danced and partied during the first Club House Party on Sunday, February 24 at Peterhead’s Waterside Inn.
When tickets initially went on sale they sold out within four days and when a second date was arranged for the following week it too quickly sold out.
Organiser Craig Milne told the Buchanie: “The feedback after the party has been simply amazing and it looks like we have achieved the aim of trying to create a magical day that the children will look back on and cherish.
“Also, thanks to Bob Stephen Photography, we helped capture the magic on the day with photographs of the children with their favourite characters.”
Simply Discos have tried to keep in mind when creating these events that the cost should be as affordable to as many families as possible.
Craig said: “The event not only creates awareness of Simply Discos, with the discos and costume hires we can provide, but also benefits children’s charities in the local area like The ARCHIE Foundation.
“We still have sold out dates for the Club House Party in the Fraserburgh Leisure Centre and the Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen coming up.”
Simply Discos will be returning to Peterhead with a Moshi Madness Party featuring Katsuma and Poppet look-a-likes on Sunday, March 17 from 2pm at the Waterside Inn for two hours of music, dances and games.
Peppa’s Party has also just been confirmed for Peterhead on Sunday, April 14. Peppa’s Party features some of your favourite characters including Peppa Pig and George Pig look-a-likes.
“Each time we provide one of these themed parties we try and raise as much money as we can for children’s charities in the local area,” explained Craig.
