Friends of Aden Park to host inaugural AGM

The Friends of Aden Country Park are to hold an inaugural Annual General meeting on Thursday, March 15 from 7pm in the Country Park Inn at Mintlaw.

Anyone who is interested in becoming a Friend of Aden is welcome to go along where Buchan Area Manager Chris White will chair the meeting.

The main focus of the night is to adopt the Friends of Aden Country Park constitution, appoint roles and responsibilities, as well as looking at how the Friends will start to make a difference in the much loved Aden Country Park.

The Friends of Aden Country Park group has been formed to provide the local community with an opportunity to have a greater say in what goes on in their local Park and how it is developed.

Discussions at previous meetings have focused on a range of topics including marketing and promotion, events, activities, current facilities on offer, the overall visitor experience, along with how various developments could improve the Park.

Friends can either volunteer on site, or equally from home in other ways.
