Elderly Peterhead residents enjoy Christmas tea dance

The annual Christmas tea dance at Buchanhaven Hearts Social Club proved a hit yet again this year.

The dance saw a host of local groups enjoy Christmas dinner with all the trimmings as well as dancing to the music of Bill Gray and Kevin and Andy Cheyne.

There were groups from Alzhemiers Scotland, Allandale House,Kingscliff Day Centre and CPN in attendance.

In all, 51 local residents took part in the event on Thursday, December 5.

An organiser for the event told the Buchanie: “The ladies and gentlemen here always love this annual event.

“They get a lovely meal and can socialise with the others.
