£5,000 raised through Rotary Club ploughing match and harvest concert

The annual ploughing match organised by the Buchan Vintage Tractor Club and Rotary Club of Peterhead was held on Saturday, October 19 at South Linshart Farm, Longside courtesy of Alistair and Shona Marr.

Despite the cold, wet conditions the match was a great success with a highlight being a demonstration of horse ploughing by Ross Kinnaird from Kinross and ploughing demonstrations by Stewart Trailers and Alistair Jessiman.

The Harvest Home Concert on the Sunday was also enjoyed immensely and grateful thanks go to Eddie Rose, Robert Lovie and all the entertainers for a superb show and Ken, Margaret and staff at the Palace Hotel for their continued support.
