Local councillor Stephen Smith presented gifts to a couple celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary.

James and Marion Clubb celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, January 10.

They were presented with a floral basket and a bottle of malt whisky on behalf of Aberdeenshire Council.

Councillor Smith said: “It’s always a very enjoyable and pleasant duty to be asked to do and the hour I spent with James and Marion listening to their stories was no exception. I hope they had an enjoyable day and wish them many more happy years together.”
