Public exhibition for Stuartfield’s major Knock View housing plans

a PUBLIC exhibition is to take place at Stuartfield Village Hall on Thursday, January 17 from 2pm to 8pm showcasing the new housing proposals by Colaren Properties.

All members of the public are invited along to view the plans and give their feedback to the representatives of the landowners who will be there on the night to answer any questions or queries.

Any feedback given at the exhibition will be taken on board and will help to shape the final masterplans of the residential development.

The public exhibition will show the plans for up to 75 houses which will be built over two phases - the first will see up to 50 homes being built plus associated infrastructure including roads, landscaping and drainage.

Land will also be reserved for the creation of sport and recreation facilities plus a new health centre on land at Knock View, Stuartfield.

The development at Stuartfield will see the population of the small village increase from its current number of approximately 750.

The Knock View site is nestled on the edge of the village and is surrounded by open countryside.

Houses planned for the site range from three to five bedrooms in size and aim to be affordable.

For further information on the proposed development, contact Gary Purves at Knight Frank LLP on 01224 644272.
