10 years passes in the blink of an eye in town

A PETERHEAD opticians is inviting the local community to help it mark a decade of caring for the town’s eye health.

The store opened in 2003 and has served more than 50,000 customers over the past decade.

John Watson, store director, says: “It’s hard to believe the store has been here for a decade - it really has gone past in the blink of an eye.

“A number of changes have taken place in the last 10 years. I have seen major advancements in technology and attitudes to eyecare have also changed – people are now more conscious about taking care of their eyesight by getting regular checks.

“We hope all of our customers and the community will join us on Saturday 23 March to celebrate this special occasion. The day will also raise money for Guide Dogs, which is Specsavers’ chosen charity and provides such an important service.”
