BDP to hold Xmas Forum at Peterhead Apex Centre

Buchan Development Partnership will be holding their Christmas Forum at 7.30pm on Thursday, December 6 at the Apex Centre, Chapel Street, Peterhead.

Shell UK Ltd will be giving an overview of their Peterhead Carbon Capture Project. Also in attendance will be a representative from the Scottish Community Foundation – who since 1996 have been working with people and organisations to help them give to good causes effectively and inexpensively.

The Foundation currently operates a small number of different grant programmes offering awards at different levels to eligible charities and not-for-profit community groups across Scotland. The main topic of the night will be their Express Grants scheme.

These awards are made up of money from the many different funds they distribute on behalf of companies, individuals and charitable trusts. Because of the wide range of funds they manage they are able to award Express Grants to support the activities of many different kinds of community groups and charities across Scotland.

Also at the Forum the awards for the fourth round of the BDP Shell Small Grants scheme will be handed to the successful recipients.

And Shell has donated a fabulous festive hamper for a free prize draw on the night.

Everyone is invited to come along. The evening will close with refreshments and a chance to get together with other community representatives.

Please contact Alison Greig on 01771 613584 or email bdp@scotmail.net if you are interested in coming along.
