IN the Scotttish Cup quarter-final, Bellslea FC took on Buckie United and the home side got off to a flier after Calder found himself clear in on goal and calmly slid the ball under the advancing Belcher.
A free kick floated in by Jamie Buchan was then headed wide by Fleming. A Jamie Buchan free kick went narrowly wide and then Watt had a great chance but fired over.

David Main and Alaister McCrae both had shots from the edge of the box which wen
t just wide of the Bellslea keeper McRobb's post.

Bellslea were awarded a penalty but Buckie keeper Belcher guessed the right way to save from Buchan's penalty.

The second half got underway and Watt again had a shot saved by Belcher. Buckie seemed to be getting more of the ball and nearly drew level but when a shot came in and beat McRobb Fleming was on hand to clear off the line.

Buckie did draw level when Bruce found himslf unmarked at the back post to poke home. Arron Gall was next to pass up a good chance but his shot from inside the box went just wide.

With the game heading into extra time Fraser Watt did some good work down the left and cut into the box where he found Daryl Allan who fired home the winner.

Bellslea nearly were made to pay with all their missed chances in the first half but now go into the semi-final for the second year in a row.

Rosehearty Thistle were up against Tulibody Abercrombie who reached the final last season. It was the away side that started the better and went ahead with a penalty scored by Campbell.

It nearly was two when Oakly chipped the keeper but it hit the bar and down it rolled along the line and out.

The second half was mostly Tulibody and their no 6 fired a 25-yard shot which flew into the top corner of the net to give the away side a 2-0 lead.

Tulibody went on to score another two goals to make thew final score 4-0. Rosehearty tried hard but with a few more players available might have been different but Tullibody were just too strong for them on the day.
In the Deejays Nightclub League, Cheers entertained New Deer in their last league game and it turned out to be a cracker with five goals.
Cheers went on to win by 3-2 with Alexander Hastie scoring a brace and the other from Kevin Mair and for New Deer was Ian Duncan and Richard Sanders.
