Boyndie season beckons

GRAMPIAN Kart Club members are all ready to go for the 2010 season at Boyndie Drome circuit on the A97 Banff to Portsoy road. Chassis have been up-date and engines rebuilt for the season ahead.
The highlight of the year will be the hosting of the 'A plate' Scottish Championships which takes place over the weekend of August 8 to 9.
The Scottish Super Series visit on April 8 and the National Kart Racing Association (NKRA) June 13.

Two championships, GKC Championships and Boyndie Drome Challenge, will be over five rounds each.

GKC meetings and dates are as follows:

March 14 - Boyndie Challenge, round 1
April 11 - GKC Championship, round 1; ASKC Scottish SS R1, Dickie Bent Cup.
May 9 - GKC Championships, round 2; JRD Cup.
May 16 - Boyndie Challenge, round 2.
June 13 - GKC Championships, round 3; NKRA Granville Grub Trophy.
June 27 - Boyndie Challenge, round 3.
July 11 - GKC Championships, round 4. Mike Phillip Trophy.
July 18 - GKC Open Day.
August 6, 7 and 8 - ASKC Scottish 'A' Plate.
August 22 - Boyndie Challenge, round 4.
September 12 - Boyndlie Challenge, final round.
October 10 - GKC Championship, final round; Northern Challenge, round 2; Team Trophy Meeting.
